ALBERTA UNIVERSITY SHOWDOWNS 2013
Trophy Tournaments is planning an exciting display of university ringette in Stavely Alberta, December 1st to the 3rd 2012. We have extended invites to the raining champions U of C ringette club as well as to U of L, MRU, and U of A. Once we have confirmed team attendance we will release a schedule for everyone to come on out and witness some truly exhilarating ringette from these unbelievably talented athletes.

Trophy Tournaments would like to extend a most sincere thank you to the University of Lethbridge and the University of Calgary for entering our University Showdown and providing the younger divisions the opportunity to see ringette played at the university Open A level. It was a pleasure to watch these two teams battle it out for first place and the $1000.00 cash prize. Congratulations to U of C for their first place finish and congratulations to U of L for a tremendous showing in their first tournament as a University ringette club. TT would also like to thank MRU ringette club for playing two exhibition games against U of C and U of L during the course of the Showdown weekend.
This was a great opportunity for the younger players to see that they can continue their ringette careers into their post secondary years and it is important for them to know they have several options regarding where they can continue playing the sport they love while attending university.
